I hadn't taken this particular route into work in a while, and
was pleasantly surprised to see this sign along the McGrath
Highway frontage road in Somerville, MA near downtown Boston

This is part of a "Priority Bicycle Lane" as shown in the wider
view:
I particularly like the wording "Bicycles Use Full Lane" rather than
the "Bicycles May Use Full Lane. In Massachusetts, bicycles may
always use the full lane at the operators discretion, but the
unambiguous wording sure makes it psychologically easier to hold
your own and makes it clear to motor vehicle operators that there is
absolutely no excuse for crowding or harassment. The signs are
repeated a few more times over this 1/2 mile stretch of street.
