Guys,

One of my friend accumulated 27000 shares of IDFC and now looking for a strategy to get out of IDFC in 2 years and can hold the Bank shares for 15 years.

He got additional money of 10 L to invest further, and even ready to pledge the bank shares to get additional funding, if required.

Surya,

My suggestion for IDFC is, he should slowly get out of the IDFC holding company and invest in IDFC Bank which gets listed on Nov 6th.

Please find attached 4 recent research reports:

ICICI Direct - Values IDFC Holding co and Bank at Rs 79+107

Motilal Oswal - Values IDFC Holding co and Bank at 119+86

Edelweiss - values to combined co at 164

Prabhudas - values to combined co at 160

These are the target prices 1 year forward.

As he can wait for 2 years to exit from IDFC holding, do you think he shoud wait to get 100+ price?
