Hi All,
Some of you have attended the Elliot Wave sessions we had with Santosh. As some of us may have realised, learning EW is a different cup of tea compared to other TA approaches.
This is basically because there are lots of Ifs & Buts and also the issue of Fractals in EW.
Following the sessions and based on some feedback and discussions, the following is proposed:
A 2 weekends + 3 month weekly follow up programme.
1st weekend: 9 & 10 Jan.This session will be taken by Musa and will cover the important core principles of EW.
Of course it will start from scratch and go onto provide an integrated understanding of EW.
I shall stress on where EW is great and how (I think) it can be effectively integrated with other TA approaches.
The focus here will be to get good foundation of ALL the theory of EW.
Focus will NOT be on the practicals though we will look at some ideal textbook setups.
2nd weekend: (15), 16 & 17 Jan. (Fri), Sat & Sun.
This session will be taken by Santosh and will for the very large part look only at practical wave counting.
We will cover global indices, all the sector indices and as many of the F&O Stocks as possible.
Of course, we shall also look at any charts that you may have.
The focus will be on actually doing EW counts on live charts and also looking at where EW works great and not-so-great.
Each of us will interactively do counts and get Santosh's feedback and opinion. Will also look for any live trades that we could do.
3 month follow up:
It is proposed to have once-a-week live
webinar session in which we will have
Santosh hand hold us interactively through
EW counting. A total of 12 sessions.
So we shall follow up a set of stocks & look for trade setups based on
EW. We shall follow up on what we discussed in the prior
webinar and see how things turned out.
The idea is to do get an extended hand holding of
EW and step by step internalise and integrate the
EW approach.
These follow up EW webinars may or may not be integrate with the IMR sessions - will take a call on this based on your feedback.
Schedule for the EW webinars will be decided based on participant inputs.
Fees:
I am sure we would have googled for EW material & courses online.
You would have perhaps noticed that there are actually very few really good EW courses offered worldwide.
I suspect this is basically due to the challenges in understanding & teaching EW and also the "controversies" surrounding EW.
The few that are available are quite expensive running into many lacs !!!
As this course is being offered with Santosh, we need to take into account his views, fees & expectations too.
I have discussed this with him and he has a number which he feels is justified. But he has also not delivered any course himself before and is open to inputs.
Further, those who attend the intro sessions have an idea of his (and y) strengths & weaknesses.
Finally, this is the 1st EW course being offered at BIC and we have very different, extended format as mentioned above.
Balancing all the above in mind, I am proposing the following:
1st weekend only: Rs. 12,500
2nd weekend only: Rs. 12,500 (2 days).
3 mth webinars only: Rs. 15,000.
Integrated fee: Rs. 29,990 (vs total of 40,000).
(Santosh's numbers are actually much higher than this and I am yet to get his okay for this !!!)
I need the following inputs from you ASAP ...
1. Your availability on the above dates for the 2 weekends.
2. Your okay and suggestions / inputs for the course structure.
3. Your okay for the fees.
Request everyone to revert ASAP so that I can freeze things with Santosh & the schedule.
Thanking you,
musa
