A testing and debugging environment has two computers: the host computer and the target computer. The target computer is also called the test computer. You develop and build your driver in Visual Studio on the host computer. The debugger runs on the host computer and is available in the Visual Studio user interface. When you test and debug a driver, the driver runs on the target computer.
Make sure that the host and target computers can ping each other by name. This process is simpler if both computers belong to the same workgroup or network domain. If your computers are in a workgroup, connect them with a router rather than a hub or switch.
If the host and target computers are joined to a workgroup and are on different subnets, you might have to adjust some firewall settings so that the host and target computers can communicate. Follow these steps:

EXCEPTION: If you are at least 17 years old, you may obtain an instruction permit without completing driver education or driver training. However, to get a DL, you must provide proof that you have completed driver education and driver training or wait until you are 18 years old.
It is against the law for drivers under 18 years old to use a cellphone or other wireless electronic communication device while driving, including a hands-free device, unless making a call for emergency services or on private property.
When reasonable transportation is not available and it is necessary for you to drive, the law grants the following exceptions for minors to drive between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. or to transport an immediate family member unaccompanied and unsupervised.
The driving test of a holder of an out-of-state DL is normally waived. However, DMV may require a driving test for any type of DL application. A minor who surrenders an out-of-state DL to apply for an original California DL, is subject to all restrictions/ requirements per California law. Proof of driver education and driver training may be required.
A provisional DL holder who receives additional violation points during their suspension/probationary period may receive a subsequent DL suspension. You must serve the full term of any probation, restriction, or suspension even if you turn 18 years old before the probation, restriction, or suspension ends.

Drivers must take a 30-minute break when they have driven for a period of 8 cumulative hours without at least a 30-minute interruption. The break may be satisfied by any non-driving period of 30 consecutive minutes (i.e., on-duty not driving, off-duty, sleeper berth, or any combination of these taken consecutively).
Drivers may split their required 10-hour off-duty period, as long as one off-duty period (whether in or out of the sleeper berth) is at least 2 hours long and the other involves at least 7 consecutive hours spent in the sleeper berth. All sleeper berth pairings MUST add up to at least 10 hours. When used together, neither time period counts against the maximum 14- hour driving window.
Drivers using a sleeper berth must take at least 8 hours in the sleeper berth, and may split the sleeper berth time into two periods provided neither is less than 2 hours. All sleeper berth pairings MUST add up to at least 8 hours.
A driver is exempt from the requirements of 395.8 and 395.11 if: the driver operates within a 150 air-mile radius of the normal work reporting location, and the driver does not exceed a maximum duty period of 14 hours. Drivers using the short-haul exception in 395.1(e)(1) must report and return to the normal work reporting location within 14 consecutive hours, and stay within a 150 air-mile radius of the work reporting location.
We are running SCCM 2012 R2 with 1 CAS and 3 DP's. Starting approximately 3 weeks ago I started getting reports of computers failing OSD during driver provisioning with error code 0x80072ee2 (operation timed out). I cannot think of anything that changed during that time. The problems happens with any TS and only at the driver provision step. We are using auto driver provisioning and use categories to keep them organized. Here is what I have come up with so far:
- I added the 2 variables SMSTSDownloadRetryCount and SMSTSDownloadRetryDelay as a work around so that the client will keep trying to get the drivers and this has helped but the underlying issue is still there.
- This is only happening at Distribution Point 2. As a test, I changed our main boundary group to assign clients to Distribution Point 1 and imaged a couple computers. The computers looked to DP1 for drivers and DP executes the driver request and sends the response in under 2 minutes.
Well I think I have figured this out. It looks like the maintenance task 'Rebuild Indexes' was not actually doing anything. I disabled the task in SCCM and created a Maintenance Plan to reorganize, rebuild, and update the indexes on Site 2's database. I scheduled the task to run during off hours and made sure there were no other task scheduled to run at the same time. I also took a full DB back up and spoke with our backup engineer and asked him to run a full back up on the server prior to my maint plan kicking off. The maintenance plan ran and successfully rebuilt the indexes. 10 computers have been imaged since then and the response time on driver request is back down to below 2 minutes. I am still going to monitor the MP_drivermgr log but right now everything is working as it should. I am assuming that the DB was so fragmented that it was just taking a long time to parse for drivers. Here are some links that I read over in preparation of creating my maint plan.

The student will receive a temporary paper driver license. Be sure to review the printed information on the temporary driver license before leaving the driver license office to make sure all the information is correct. If any of the information is incorrect, notify the DPS employee assisting you.
If the license-holder chooses to renew in person before they turn 18, they will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If they renew in person after their 18th birthday, they will no longer need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
A provisional license is the next stage of the Rookie Driver graduated licensing system process. You must have passed the Maryland driver skills test to obtain a provisional license. In the provisional phase, the driver gains experience by driving without supervision but with restrictions. The restrictions include the use of a cell phone, transporting passengers, driving at night or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
All provisional drivers must maintain a clean driving record for 18 months before they are eligible for a full Maryland driver's license. With a provisional license, you may drive without a supervising driver. However, you may be subject to restrictions depending on your age.
Any conviction or probation before judgment with a provisional license will restart the 18 month time period one must hold the license. The time period is restarted from the date of the conviction or probation before judgment, or the date the license was restored after a suspension or revocation.
When you have successfully completed all the requirements of the provisional license, and held the license for the minimum requested time period, the MVA will automatically convert your license to the full privileges of a driver's license An attachment card will be mailed to you, indicating the conversion and should be carried with the provisional license. Once you renew your license, you will be issued a new one and will no longer need the attachment.
If you are convicted of a moving violation, regardless of your age or experience, you will be required to restart an 18-month time period with no additional moving violations. You become eligible to convert to a full driver's license when the 18 months have been completed.
