For some reason every time I create a new presentation,, even though I have not added any transitions, animations or anything like that. When I go full screen it then seems to have created a animation which it moves between the slides with a set time between each one. Think it defaults to five seconds. This never happened before when I created presentations a few months before and I can do the process in the exact same way
There is a section at the top of the with a clock symbol and has an option to edit the timing. Which allows to adjust the time between each slide (upto thirty seconds) and you apply this to all slides or just a specific one.

I have a school project and my group used canva to make the slides, however, it is a requirement to convert them to PowerPoint slides. When we did so, all of our animations, as well as many of the animations/gifs we used from canva were missing or corrupted. I tried to just download the missing animations from canva into my laptop and then inserting them into the ppt but their transparent backgrounds would end up as white. Any way I can fix this? Thanks

Hello Lillian, I for one have never really given canva a try as I always thought it was going to be to difficult, You sure do make it look easy my friend.. Thanks for the Awesome video tutoiral.. Chery :))

Thank you SOOO much for this video tutorial! I created a great presentation in Canva for a virtual speaking event. I submitted it to the person in charge of the event, but they required PowerPoint slides.

I honestly had no idea if I could convert one to the other, so after a quick Google search, I found this article and your tutorial video. I was able to convert my Canva presentation into PowerPoint slides within minutes, thanks to your video!

I seriously like your idea of sharing videos in your post. I was having some issues while operating canva but with the help of your video tutorials, I was able to create awesome presentations with it.

As in business, PowerPoint presentations are a typical event. In spite of the fact that PowerPoint presentations are not necessarily the best but most effective type of business presentations; moreover they do lend a lot of valuable benefits.

When I choose Share - Public Live Link (there is no other option for me to provide the link to the slides which is read-only), the URL which they then view becomes a video for them to play where each slide is shown for five seconds then moves onto the next one.

Any help to have the presentation for the viewer when I send them it via the Share option so they just have the slides and can click to move onto the next ones, without the file and presentation playing as a video, which displays all the slides but moves on automatically between them after around five seconds.

I've been given a URL for a Canva presentation ... but I can't seem to figure out how to put it onto a Storyline 3 slide. I've tried it as a "Web Object" but get the message "www.canva.com refused to connect" when I view the published SL3 output.

How about adding a QR code to the last slide of your presentation? Your audience scans the QR code with their phones, and all of your slides will pull up in a "view only" display! No need to waste paper with handouts.

If the slides contain citations to information published elsewhere, and you want to cite that information as well, then it is best to find, read, and cite the original source yourself rather than citing the slides as a secondary source.

Writers creating PowerPoint presentations in APA Style should present information clearly and concisely. Many APA Style guidelines can be applied to presentations (e.g., the guidance for crediting sources, using bias-free language, and writing clearly and concisely).

In order to ensure the success of the event, we will be doing ample preparation including confirming your participation, gathering presenter bios and presentation materials for the event in advance, and encouraging specific formats for your presentations.

If you prefer using Canva for creating presentation slides and Google Slides for collaborative editing, the good news is that you can get the best of both worlds. You can easily import Canva designs into Google Slides and then edit them in Google Slides.

The PowerPoint export format is available for Canva presentations as well as for any other graphic created inside Canva. If the PowerPoint icon is not visible, you can click the See all link to get a list of all the available formats.

Canva is a popular graphic design platform that allows users to create a variety of designs, including presentations. While Canva offers a range of powerful design features to create visually stunning presentations, users may find themselves wondering about the possibility of printing or displaying presenter notes alongside their slides. Fortunately, there are several ways to print Canva presentations with notes.

One way to print Canva presentations with notes is to download the presentation as a PDF file. Users can save or print a copy of their design with their notes by downloading them as a PDF. To do this, users can open the design they want to download, click Share above the editor, select Download, choose PDF Standard or PDF Print from the dropdown, tick the Include notes checkbox, and click Download. Another way to print Canva presentations with notes is to click the Notes icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to open a new window with the notes, and then print them by clicking the File menu and selecting Print.

Canva is a graphic design platform that allows users to create a wide range of designs, from social media graphics to presentations, posters, and more. It is a user-friendly platform that makes designing accessible to people of all skill levels. Users can choose from a variety of templates or create their own designs from scratch.

One of the features of Canva is the ability to add notes to presentations. These notes can be used to provide additional information to the presenter or to serve as a script for the presentation. Canva also allows users to print their presentations with notes, making it easy to have a physical copy of the presentation with all the necessary information.

One common formatting issue when printing a Canva presentation with notes is that the notes may not align with the corresponding slides. To fix this, users can try adjusting the print settings to ensure that both the slides and notes are printed at the correct size. Another solution is to manually adjust the notes in the presentation to ensure they align with the corresponding slides.

Check your printer settings: Before printing, make sure to check your printer settings to ensure that you are printing the correct number of slides, the right orientation, and the correct color settings. This can help you avoid wasting paper and ink.

On the subject of recording presentations, this works in a similar way in both tools: you can record your presentation with audio and video (i.e., your webcam). When finished, this can be exported as a video file.

Canva recently released an import feature that lets you import PowerPoint files into Canva. However, depending on the fonts and layouts used in the original presentation, imported presentations may not always be faithful to the PowerPoint original.

Luckily, using a free AI presentation maker can help you create new slide decks in minutes. AI presentation software is software that helps users direct generative AI to create, design, and edit presentations, so you can focus on telling your story, instead of formatting slides.

Many AI presentation tools function as standalone apps. This means that if you normally use Google Slides or PowerPoint to collaborate with your customers and coworkers, you need to convince everyone to switch to a new app to work on presentations together and start sending clients unfamiliar links.

Plus AI can generate full presentations or single slides, rewrite your slides, and reformat content on a slide into a new layout in seconds. It can also help you design a new theme for your slide deck using AI.

MagicSlides is also an AI presentation add-on for Google Slides. The tool allows users to turn text into presentations, generate presentations from prompts, and adjust formatting using generative AI. MagicSlides is relatively light on features compared to other AI presentation tools on the market, but it does offer some valuable features:
