I have a kernel module logging input of some sensor while I work with it. I want to see if there is a command that outputs /var/log/messages (for example) but waits for more logs to come. That is, some program like dmesg except that it stays on and keeps printing newly-come logs.

I am currently compiling the Linux kernel (kernel, modules and DTB) with some custom drivers for a custom board. Occasionally I'll compile the kernel and realize that the compatibility string in the DTB file is not what the custom driver is looking for. Right now the only way i can remedy this is modify the DTS or kernel driver so the strings match and then recompile the kernel again. Is there are way I can just edit the DTB file to update the compatibility string?
Another approach might be just use make dtbs this will call dtc. arch/arm/boot/dts/Makefile lists which DTBs should begenerated at build timeThis another way to compile it. make will put that in this location of kernel tree /arch/arm/boot/dts

I hope someone will be able to assist. In Windows 7 if I did a file transfer via Teamviewer and the connections was disconnected. I was able to re-connect and the file transfer would just carry on where it left off.

I tried to transfer a file between computers. I drag the file onto the remote desktop, and it just springs back. I then looked up how to do it, and the article I found says to go to "Extras/Files" in the TeamViewer menu bar. MY menubar only says "Extras". I did enable file sharing on my remote computer. I do not know what else to do to allow me to exchange files between my two computers. Any suggestions?

More generally, I have seen that if we have $f \in \mathcal C^2(x)$ (twice differentiable functions) then our model isn't identifiable, because we have $g(\mu_i) = \gamma + f(x_i) = (\gamma - c) + (f(x_i) + c)$ and $(f(x) + c) \in \mathcal C^2(x)$. This makes sense to me, but I am unclear about how we can then make this model identifiable by changing the properties of $f$, or rather by restricting the domain on which $f$ exists. I am also unsure how to implement these domain restrictions by using different kernels to define our RKHS.
