Students have many pathways. Schools need to support them no matter where they are going. Parchment makes it simple. From one platform, administrators can securely send and receive student credentials like transcripts, transfer records, and college application documents in a few clicks.

Issue, verify, and receive digital credentials, such as transcripts, digital badges, and certifications with the most trusted credential management platform in the world. With Parchment Digitary, learners have a single place where they can instantly access and share all of their digital academic documents.

Forsyth County Schools was looking for an online product that enabled them to connect with their student information system and allow multiple schools to assist with the processing of transcripts. Parchment was the answer they were looking for.

The University of Texas at Arlington wanted to move inbound transcript and document processing online. Parchment significantly decreased document processing time, which led to faster application processing and a better student and applicant experience.

FedEx delivery is only available when placing an online order. FedEx orders will only be processed once a week. For immediate delivery, official electronic transcripts are sent out the same day. Credit or debit cards are accepted for payment.

Applying to a UC Davis Graduate program through the Office of Graduate Studies? Current and former UC Davis students request your transcript through Parchment and have a printed transcript mailed using USPS First Class Mail.

Documents are sometimes required by other institutions (e.g., AMCAS, PharmCAS, NursingCAS, etc.) to be sent as an attachment with your official transcript. Please indicate if you need an attachment included with your official transcript. Attachments must be submitted at the time of the request.

If you are seeking transcripts for classes offered through Continuing & Professional Education (formerly University Extension), including Open Campus but not Summer Sessions, visit UC Continuing & Professional Education.

Your application must include one (1) academic transcript, mark sheet, or final grades sheet (and certified English translation, if required) from each institution you attended. The baccalaureate or equivalent transcript should clearly indicate conferral of your undergraduate degree. If you are currently completing your baccalaureate, you should upload a transcript showing your academic record through your most current term of study.

You should upload your transcript to the online application as a PDF, TIFF, or JPEG (either single or multi-page documents). The file(s) must be clear and legible, including in orientation (e.g. not upside down or sideways). You will upload this document to the "Educational History" section of your application.

We do not require separate transcripts from study abroad, transfer or summer session schools, as long as your transcript reports the same course names and grades for work done at other institutions. If these details are not reported, you must submit a separate transcript.

You should upload the official transcript to the application, even though it is illegible, and also upload a print-out from your institution's website that shows your academic history. Even though we do not normally accept print-outs from the web, in this case we will.

While we prefer applicants upload transcripts when possible, we recognize that not everyone is able to prepare a scanned file. Your application will receive full consideration as long as you mail us your transcripts by the application deadline date. Please note our address below.

All applicants must ensure that certified English translations accompany all documents written in languages other than English. Translations must be literal and complete versions of the original records. We must have your transcripts in both the native language and in English for us to evaluate your credentials.

Each transcript must be mailed to Graduate Enrollment Services and be received prior to your first term of registration. Any transcript you send must be an original official transcript with the Registrar's stamp or signature. It will become part of your official New York University record.

In education, a transcript is a certified record (inventory) of a student throughout a course of study having full enrollment history including all courses (or subjects) attempted, grades earned and degrees and awards conferred.

An official transcript is prepared and sent by the issuing school usually by the registrar with an original signature of a school official on the school letterhead and is sealed by the school. When students change schools, or seek admission to a college or university, the official transcript is usually mailed from school to school. Transcripts usually consist of grades 9-12 when applying to college.

Colleges and universities that are owed money by a former student may "hold" the transcript until they are paid. This may mean that former student cannot resume their education elsewhere.[2] Many colleges and universities will not allow a prospective student until receiving communication (in the form of a physical stamp or seal) that the prior school is satisfied with its debt collection.[3] If the college or university discovers that an applicant lied on their college application, the college can rescind the offer of admission, can revoke the student's degree, if completed, and refuse the release of that student's transcripts.[4]

In the United States, release of information from an official transcript without consent to a third party is prohibited by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Alteration of a transcript is considered a felony in most states.

In the European ECTS system, a Transcript of Records (ToR) is used to document the performance of a student over a certain period of time by listing the course units or modules taken, the credits gained, and the grades awarded. The Transcript of Records provides a standard format for recording all study activities carried out by students. It is an essential tool for academic recognition.[5]

Transcript of Records and Diploma Supplements are a fairly recent development in most European countries. Students who obtained academic degrees in Europe prior to the Bologna Process of 1999 typically will not have received transcripts or diploma supplements and they cannot be produced retroactively for these students. Even today there are still European universities that are not ready to issue Transcripts or Diploma Supplements. Unlike in the US, there does not typically exist in Europe a system of schools directly mailing transcripts to other schools, something that also would be problematic in view of European privacy laws.

Transcript fraud is the alteration of a transcript issued by a legitimate school or university or the forgery of completely fake transcripts and is considered a felony. Transcript fraud is a growing problem for both educational institutions and employers.[citation needed] This is related to diploma fraud, which is the forgery of school or university diplomas.

Official academic transcripts can be ordered online through MyUCLA. Transcript orders may not be faxed or sent electronically; these are not secure transmission methods and cannot safeguard personal data. Electronic PDF and mailed transcripts are processed through Parchment, the official UCLA transcript agent.

Most academic transcripts are available to UCLA students at no charge after payment of the Document Fee. There is no fee for an academic transcript sent by USPS first-class mail to a U.S. address. Fees for services and expedited delivery, and special handling, appear on the order form. Complete details appear on the transcript-related fees page. Fees are subject to change at any time.

A transcript is an official document that records a student's academic progress. These documents are only generated and released upon the request of the student. Official transcripts are issued on security paper, or in a secure electronic format, and cannot be faxed. Transcripts will not be issued for individuals who have an outstanding balance or unfulfilled obligation to the university. The cost for each transcript in either format is $8.00. Please note that we will generate official transcripts which include any course completed within a semester only after that semester ends.

If you would like to view or print your advising transcript (Tranguid), and you were an enrolled student in one of the last three semesters (accounts are deleted after three semesters), use Banner Web.

Transcripts can only be released directly to the student or to a person or entity designated by the student (a photo ID is required when picking up a transcript in person). Transcripts will include final grades as shown in Student Self-Service only, not necessarily final grades as shown in course learning management systems such as Canvas, Moodle, etc. Official transcripts are $8 per copy and must be paid for when ordered.

Current or recent students who have an active Student Self-Service login and password can submit an online order for an official PDF or paper transcript using the Registration and Records tab in Student Self-Service.

Note: If you do not need an official transcript, you may choose to print your academic history from Student Self-Service. This website is for Urbana-Champaign campus transcripts only. For University of Illinois Springfield transcripts, refer to www.uis.edu, and for University of Illinois Chicago transcripts, refer to www.uic.edu. Records for UIC College of Medicine and College of Nursing students reside at the University of Illinois Chicago.
