From “The Awe of God” to “The Fear of God”

There is a Hebrew word that may be translated either “awe” or “fear,” depending on the context in which it appears. In Genesis 1, we stand in “awe of the God” that created the Heavens, the Earth and made us what we are. However, five short chapters later, the context changes dramatically. Continue reading at -
