We had a great meeting in Mabank last night. However, an unexpected event in Alvarado, Texas caused me to stop in my tracks – and focused my way of thinking. I live about 5 miles from the Alvarado city limit and another family member lives much closer. I was the chaplain at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center in the early 1990s too.
