Hearing to Acquire the Wisdom of the Beginnings of the Torah

The first five books of the Christian Bible are called the Torah in Jewish Scriptures. The Torah Scroll was the Wisdom Scroll of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. It is a very different type of wisdom from that of other nations. This wisdom comes from awe and reverence. It is a guide for walking on the path of life with the Creator. Remember you are not reading theology or mythology – it is an ancient Hebrew wisdom text. Acquiring wisdom begins with reading these words out loud.
