The impending threat of a second mass destruction dominates Christian belief systems. “God” is linked to “salvation” because “the Great Day of Judgment” is in many of the books of the New Testament. The first option seems more just, as it rewards goodness and punishes sin. But theologically, it poses a problem for some Christian institutions because it challenges another belief model they hold -- God’s omnipotence. Continue reading at -
