"2300 days" of prophecy in Daniel 8:14

Daniel 8:13-14 , "... , How long shall be the vision concerning the
daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the
sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14: And he said unto
me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary
be cleansed. "
To understanding the prophecy in Daniel Chapter 8, we should consider
to some points :
1. When cleaning the sanctuary start , it means that the chance for
repentance is over and the people will judge.
(Study History of God's Temple in Jerusalem)
a) Sacrifices were offered to Temple -> ( ~ "2300 days")
b) In "last day" ( day of atonement ) the high priest sacrifice a goat
and sprinkle the blood of it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy
seat -> ( ~ "last chance")
(high priest is "Jesus Christ" in heavenly Temple right now )
(I could not find no information about this step in this prophecy)
c) At "the end" the sanctuary be cleansed (End of this prophecy)
2. Start of this prophecy might be in the kingdoms of Persia (ram) or
Greece (goat) ( second (bear) and third (leopard) beasts of Daniel
7:5-6 )
3. This prophecy is related to "last days" and "the END" , Daniel 8:17
& 8:19
8:17 , "... for at the time of the end shall be the vision."
8:19 , "... what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at
the time appointed the end shall be. "
4. This prophecy is related to :
"Transgression of desolation" : (transgression which lead to desolate
God's temple ( Daniel 8:13 , 11:31 & 12:11 )
"Daily sacrifice" : (forgiveness through sacrifices and then blood of
Christ)
5. The "End" :
"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for
a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew
24:14)

*** Transgression of desolation :
As we study Daniel 9:3-19 , "desolation" of Jerusalem and the temple is
caused by breaking the "covenant" by Jews. (This prophecy is relate to
Temple after the reconstruction by the command of Persian kings)
The principle of the covenant is that Jews should always keep the
commandments of God and "only" ask help from God & trust in God , it is
a fundamental rule for all times.
(Isaiah 31:4-6 , "For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the
lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of
shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their
voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them : so shall the LORD of
hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 5:
As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending
also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it. 6: Turn
ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.")
After a seventh month siege, from January to August 332 BC , Alexander
took control of the city of Tyre ). With the exception of Josephus ,
nothing is said about the Jews by those ancient historians who wrote
about Alexander. Arrian merely records, "The remainder of Syria known
as Palestine had already come over to him". This implies that the Jews
and other peoples occupying Palestine had already allied themselves
with the Macedonian invaders before the fall of Tyre.
(Isaiah 23:17 "And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy
years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire,
and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon
the face of the earth.")
There is no indication that the Jews in Judea were disloyal to their
new overlords (Andromachus - 331 BC) while Alexander was in Egypt.
Rather, Josephus quotes the Hellenistic historian Hecataeus of Abdera
to the effect that Alexander rewarded the Jews the land of Samaria free
from taxation in exchange for their friendship and loyalty
As we study the history , After the partition of Alexander's dominions,
the Jewish people came into contact with only two of the four kingdoms
which succeeded him-the Seleucids, the kings of Syria ("the king of the
north") and the Ptolemies, rulers of Egypt ("the king of the south").
Isaiah 31:1-7 , "1: Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and
stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in
horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy
One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! ..."
Historically There is evidence that at some point Ptolemy marched into
Jerusalem and took the city by force on the Sabbath, when no Jew would
take up arms in resistance. (301 BC)
Daniel 11:31 "And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute
the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and
they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."
Daniel 8:23-26 , "23: And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the
transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and
understanding dark sentences, shall stand up..."

*** I think there is no relation between "start" of this prophecy and
70 (69+1) weeks prophecy in Daniel 9:24 which is the commandment to
restore and to rebuild Jerusalem by king of Persia. ( 457BC-34AD)
( One view said that the "last days" was started in 457BC+2300=1844AD ,
www.adventist.org ).
So , I think "2300 Days" prophecy in Daniel 8:14 - might relate to the
following case:
( which means 2300 years , " ... I have appointed thee each day for a
year" (Ezekiel 4:6) )
-) Started 333 BC and finished in 1968 AD (1967 Israel took control of
Jerusalem )
I think , Daniel 12:11-12 refers to period of the "last days" :
"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and
the abomination that maketh desolate set up, ... " (Maybe it means when
"2300 days" in Daniel 8:14 finish then ... )
" ... there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12:
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred
and five and thirty days."
I think the following period is the "last day":
-) 1290-1335 years ( 45 years between ), 1967 AD end of 1290 years,
2012 AD second coming!
677 AD, a mosque was built on the place of Temple in Jerusalem, which
was illegal even by Islamic Laws.
Consider to Quran (Book of Muslims) this Temple is belong to "People of
Book" (Jews & Christians) as their center of worship ("Qiblah"). (sura
2:144-145)
Muslims have no right to build a mosque in this Temple and then worship
toward Mecca!

After the "last days" finish , then "END" come. (which is too late for
wicked)
I think start of "END" is including "seal 6" in Revelation 6.
*** To understand what will happen and the situation in the "END" ,
compare it with the situation of Egyptians and Israelis in Egypt and
went to "promised land". Or "Noah" during the "flood".
"I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn
spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed,
and given to the burning flame. 12: As concerning the rest of the
beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were
prolonged for a season and time.
13: I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man
came with the clouds of heaven, ... " (Daniel 7:11-13)

*** Two important conclusions :
a) If we could determine start of "2300 days" and duration of "last
days" , then we can find what time is the start of "END" (By the way,
sign of Matthew 24:14 is very important)
b) The last chance of repentance and submission is now < TODAY IS THE
DAY OF SALVATION >. When the "END" come and "Christ" return, then it is
too late for wicked.
