I do not write all verses of book of Ezekiel here, but read them
yourself.
This book is about:
====================
1) Giving message to Ezekiel, son of Buzi to warn "Literal Israel"
(Chapters 1-3)
- Four beasts are the same as in Revelation 4 & 5
10: As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a
man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the
face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an
eagle.
2-7: And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear,
or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
3-17: Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel:
therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
==========
2) Situation of "Literal Israel" and God's warning to them (Chapters
4-24), but Israel of today could have some of these problems and need
the same warnings.
Ezekiel - Chapter 4
4: Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house
of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt
lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5: For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to
the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou
bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6: And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side,
and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I
have appointed thee each day for a year.
Ezekiel - Chapter 13
2: Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy,
and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye
the word of the LORD;
3: Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow
their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
10: Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace;
and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed
it with untempered morter:
16: To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem,
and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith
the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel - Chapter 17
12: Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things
mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and
hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with
him to Babylon;
Ezekiel - Chapter 23
2: Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3: And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in
their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised
the teats of their virginity.
4: And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her
sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were
their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.
==========
3) Double meaning prophecy of ancient time and future,
Ammonites-Moab-Edom (Chapters 25)
They are symbol of the people that close to God's people but are
against them when they see Israel is dispersed and not united.
25-14: And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people
Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according
to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
==========
4) Double meaning prophecy of ancient time and future, Tyrus-Pharaoh
king of Egypt (Chapters 26-32)
"Tyrus" is similar to "Mystery Babylon" ("Woman" the mother) in
Revelation 17 & 18
* "Nebuchadrezzar" is also symbol of "Michael" ("angel with sickle",
Revelation 14:17)
* "north" here could refer to "heaven" (above something)
26-7: For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with
horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much
people.
Ezekiel - Chapter 28:18 = Revelation 18:8 (fire)
28-18: Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine
iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring
forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will
bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold
thee.
Ezekiel - Chapter 27:16 & 29-35 = Revelation 18:9-11
27-32: And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee,
and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the
destroyed in the midst of the sea?
Ezekiel - Chapter 26:3 = Revelation 18 (21: And a mighty angel took up
a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea ...)
26-3: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O
Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea
causeth his waves to come up.
26-8: He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he
shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift
up the buckler against thee.
------------ "Pharaoh king of Egypt"
Ezekiel - Chapter 29
2: Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy
against him, and against all Egypt:
3: Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee,
Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his
rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for
myself.
* "Pharaoh king of Egypt" is also symbol of "Beast" (Revelation 13 &
17); fourth beast of Daniel 7
* "Egypt" is in south of "Tyrus", it could refers to "Tyrus" ("Woman")
is over "Egypt" ("Beast")
* "Nebuchadrezzar" is also symbol of "Michael" (with sword of God =
sickle in Revelation 14:17)
30-25: But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the
arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the
LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon,
and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
32-19: Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with
the uncircumcised.
* "uncircumcised" is also symbol of those have no covenant with God
Ezekiel - Chapter 32:7-8 = Revelation 6 (12: ... and the sun became
black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13: And the
stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her
untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.)
7: And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the
stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon
shall not give her light.
8: All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set
darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
==========
5) End time situation of world, last warnings to Israel, the "Last
Watchman" (Chapter 33)
* Warning to Israel (God's people) by "Watchman" about coming the
judgment.
* Saved will live and the lost will die. (This only happen in God's
judgment because in earthly wars anybody could die!)
Ezekiel - Chapter 33
2: Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them,
When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a
man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet,
and warn the people;
4: Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not
warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon
his own head.
7: So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of
Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them
from me.
31: And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before
thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them:
for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after
their covetousness.
32: And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath
a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy
words, but they do them not.
33: And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they
know that a prophet hath been among them.
=========================================
6) Start of "Great Tribulation", Judgment of who are alive, Coming of
"shepherd" (Chapters 34)
Ezekiel - Chapter 34
2: Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to
the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the
shepherds feed the flocks?
----------- Coming of the "Shepherd"
Ezekiel - Chapter 34
20: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I,
will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.
23: And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them,
even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their
shepherd.
24: And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince
among them; I the LORD have spoken it.
25: And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the
evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in
the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
***** "David a prince" = "shepherd" is symbol of "Last Lord" because
real David was dead in past, and Christ will come for Resurrection (in
Chapters 35-37). See point no.(10) in below, too.
* "covenant of peace" through "David a prince" with those who are alive
after destruction of Woman in Revelation 18; before "great earthquake"
of seal 6 and start of destruction of "Fourth beast" (Daniel 7) =
Ezekiel - Chapter 29-32 (Attention: God said in these chapters: "I
will" destroy them by "sword of God" ("Michael": angel with sickle in
Revelation 14).
* God's people who are alive will live in "wilderness", but safe, until
coming of Christ and the "Holy City" come down. "wilderness" = in
"Nile-Euphrates" region; Similar to situation of "Moses", literal
Israel in desert and destruction of Egypt.
==========
7) Coming of Christ, Destroying the wicked, "mount Seir" ("remnant" in
Revelation 19:21, "rest of beasts" in Daniel 7) (Chapters 35-36)
Ezekiel - Chapter 35
3: And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am
against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will
make thee most desolate.
4: I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou
shalt know that I am the LORD.
==========
8) First Resurrection , giving "Promised Land" ("Holy City") to God's
people (Chapters 37)
36-8: But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your
branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at
hand to come.
Ezekiel - Chapter 37 = Daniel 12:1-3 & Revelation 21-22
5: Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause
breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
12: Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up
out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
14: And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall
place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have
spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
37-26: Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be
an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply
them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
* "covenant of peace" through Christ with those who would resurrected
in "First Resurrection".
==========
9) Second Resurrection and judgment over wicked, Gog-Magog (Chapters
38-39)
* Revelation - Chapter 20:7-15
Ezekiel - Chapter 38
2: Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief
prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
8: After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou
shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is
gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which
have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and
they shall dwell safely all of them.
9: Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud
to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10: Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the
same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil
thought:
11: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages;
I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them
dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
18: And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come
against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come
up in my face.
22: And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I
will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that
are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and
brimstone.
39-6: And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell
carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7: So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel;
and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen
shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
* The nations which named in this Chapter such as: Persia, Ethiopia,
and Libya ... are symbol of "all direction" toward "holy city" at the
end of 1000 years. At that time there will be no literal nation
anymore.
[Revelation - Chapter 20]
7: And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out
of his prison, 8: And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in
the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together
to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9: And they
went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the
saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of
heaven, and devoured them.
15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.
==========
10) Temple of God (Chapters 40-48)
[Revelation - Chapter 20]
11: And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them. 12: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God;
and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the
book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works.
Ezekiel - Chapter 43
1: Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh
toward the east:
2: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the
east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth
shined with his glory.
Ezekiel - Chapter 44
1: Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary
which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
2: Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be
opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of
Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.
3: It is for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread
before the LORD; he shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate,
and shall go out by the way of the same.
* "Prince" will eat bread (which Christ will give him) before LORD.
"Bread" is symbol of body of Christ; Christ does not eat himself
(symbolically).
