Hi, Teus and anybody/everybody else,

The webpage https://github.com/bibledit/windows/releases/tag/5.0.990 says that Windows version 5.0.990 is the latest (I want the latest), but I can't find a link to it. Rather, there is a link to 5.0.980.

Maybe an oversight?

Reason to update: With Win v. 5.0.980, I'm getting error messages when I try to copy data from Paratext to Bibledit Windows desktop:

22 July 2022 21:09:29 | Response code: 426 Upgrade Required
22 July 2022 21:09:36 | Files: Failure requesting total checksum: Response code: 426 Upgrade Required

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric, Teus says the latest version is 5.0.980 at present. The new version 5.0.990 is on the way. We will let you know when it is ready!

Teus has released 5.0.983 just now.

Thank you!

I'm still seeing what's in the image below. I shows "1 commit" and "5.0.990" at the top. But your email says he "released 5.0.983", so maybe I should not want 5.0.990, but rather 5.0.983?

In other words, even though I am accessing the page for 5.0.990 (https://github.com/bibledit/windows/releases/tag/5.0.990), what is being offered there is 5.0.98x. Is this what I need?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,

That is not the one you would need.
The newest release is what you would need to have the newest version.
It's available from the releases page at https://github.com/bibledit/windows/releases.
