Could someone who has used the "planning" option in the menu please provide me a how-to or use-case scenario?

I see "Sprint Burndown, Remaining Tasks" but how do tasks get created by an admin, then assigned, then placed within this planning page?

I don't need the functionality yet but I'm just curious how it is correctly utilized?

Thanks!

Hello Mark,

It starts all with adding tasks.
The tasks will be units of work to be completed by the translation team.

Let's say, the following three tasks are added:
Matthew 1
Matthew 2
Matthew 3.

Then this produces a list of three tasks, and checkboxes appear.

By default one task generates the following four checkboxes which are sub-tasks:
Translate
Check
Hebrew/Greek
Discussions

Each member of the team can then pick a task, and complete it, and check the box.
Then every night Bibledit Cloud will generate a sprint burndown chart, which will show how many tasks are still left for the period of 30 days to be completed.

It's all very basic but it works basically.

Thank you, How/where does one add a task?

It is visible here on the demo how to add a task: https://bibledit.org:8091/sprint/index

Here is the screenshot of the area where to add a task:
