Secure connection to Bibledit-cloud not working?

I can connect to the insecure connection on port 8080, but not the secure connection on 8081. The SSL certificate is valid, and works fine for Apache. Bibledit just drops the connection. The firewall and port forwarding settings look OK. What should I check?

Hello Michael,

To check probably would be best to start with the certificates in the "config" folder as described in https://github.com/bibledit/cloud/blob/master/config/config.txt.

How does that config folder look?

In a working installation, like on https://bibledit.org:8091, it would look like this:

-rw-r--r-- 1 foo foo 1858 Jul 24 04:00 cert.pem

-rw-r--r-- 1 foo foo 3750 Jul 24 04:00 chain.pem

-rw-r--r-- 1 foo foo 5608 Jul 24 04:00 fullchain.pem

-rw-r--r-- 1 foo foo 1708 Jul 24 04:00 privkey.pem
