DAY 59 - This is my commandment - Min. Joe

Today's Reading Lamentations 2:1 - Ezekiel 12:20   The Book of Lamentations was written by Jeremiah the prophet who was lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem. My eyes riveted to Lamentation 3:37. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass when the Lord commandeth it not?"   The word command means: to direct with specific authority or prerogative / to have or exercise authority or control over.   We know that the Word says ask anything in My Name and it will be done! So here the prophet Jeremiah says, who can ask or speak anything and it happens when God hasn't commanded it or ordered it!   So when God commands something, he has has used his authority and power to make it happen. If anything happens in your life and God allows it, he has authorised it. He is the control. He's the Commander in Chief of all the situations of your life. So he says; This is my commandment: Be Healed! This is my commandment: Be Forgiven! This is my commandment: Be Rich!   The irony of this verse my brothers and sisters, is that God has already commanded in His word and declared what His promises for us are. What do you mean Minister Joe? I just want to make the verse clear by saying, ask what has been commanded and you will have it happen. In other words, don't ask what isn't in His Word because it won't happen. Don't ask the Lord for a cigar!   This means if you ask God anything, it being His will as a commandment it's yours!   For example, if you ask God for more brotherly love in your life, you have already got it happening in your life! Because He says in His word this is my commandment that you love one another! If you are sick and you ask for healing, He has commanded in His Word that By my stripes you were healed.   Hallelujah........ what do you want to Happen or come to pass in your life? Say it! This is my commandment!   I feel like preaching! But I'm out of time, I gotta run... and I gotta keep the devil on the run. PEACE
