Proverbs 7:1 - Proverbs 20:21
Today 18 September is my mothers birthday she is __ years old! I dearly love her and thank her for what she is in my life. May God richly bless Mai Chikosi and give her many more years. As I was perusing the enriching proverbs I hit Proverbs 10:1. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. Before I left home for work today, my mum had prepared some tasty sandwiches. Yes she does this everyday faithfully for me and for the whole family. She's ever been doing this since we was little. For me it's not so much the sandwiches but the TLC in the sandwich that I love.
Sometimes when I wake up in the morning and I got my morning grump on... (coz of the pressures of this life) lol, she always has a smile. She will gently ask you those kinda curious questions that will make you say something. HaHaHa. Yes that's my loving mother. I know also that when we all leave the house, she gets on her knees and earnestly prays for us. She then sends us some emails, catches up on her BIBLE IN 90 DAYS reading and then hits her siesta!
My prayer has always been Lord help me make my daddy glad and not to be a heaviness to my mama. If you have a mother in your life take some time to appreciate her. Please call her or send a text now, to tell her you love her. If you are a mother, try to live a life what will make you leave a law or teaching in your children's life according to Proverbs 1:8.
On the spiritual application, we know that our heavenly father is God. All we want do as sons and daughters of God is to please Him and make Him glad. We also know that a woman (mother) represents the church. As we live christian lives.... we don't want to bring heaviness and grief, to our respective churches where we worship. This will make you a foolish son or daughter. We need to eliviate the heaviness! Amen! Try to make things lighter at your church. Help when you are needed, cooperate in events, uplift other believers, make someone smile and pray for someone. Do it with real Holy Ghost and brotherly TLC.

l felt a tear roll down my cheeks when l read what Bro Joe wondefull words about our precious sister Chikosi, it was not envy but it was joy to realise how wonderful she has been to her family and how wonderful she is and how wonderful she will always be. When bro Joe wrote " before l left fo work today, my mum had prepared some tasty sandwiches. Yes she does this everyday faithfully for me and for the WHOLE FAMILY."
