Day 29 - I'm in the Book! - Bro Joe

Today’s Reading 1 Chronicles 1:1 - 1 Chronicles 9:44   Please check out our new 90 Day Video (Part 2) here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCXhasS5AwA   The book of 1 Chronicles is the 13th book of the Bible; it contains 29 chapters, 942 verses, 20,369 words. This book starts of with a list of historical records and genealogies. They may seem monotonous and useless to the reader, but there’s a reason why they are noted in the bible.   I thought Lord, what's all the need of noting these names? Then I heard a song coming up in my heart. He knows my name.... He sees each tear that falls.... I have a father! That’s from Jeremiah 1:5.   The fact that these people got their names in the bible is significant. God knew each one of their names and made them make their way into the Holy Bible. God knows you by name and surname, he knows your granddad. He knows your mother's father in law, (who you may not know.) He’s making way for your name to be in the Bible. You have to be found in the Word.  He has already put your name in the lamb’s book of life. He is your father! He sees your every tear and call. He says, even though you maybe a sinner, I have saved you and put you in the book. Since I saw my name in the book! Hallelujah.   So rejoice because you’re in the book! I'm in the lamb’s book of life, so Satan shut up! I'm in the book so let me enjoy all the blessings... You are in the book so start thanking God today that your name is in the book!
