Today's Reading
1 Kings 16:21 - 2 Kings 4:37

I Looove KETCHUP! My mum tells me that when I was in her womb, she went on a mad craving for Tomato Sauce Ketchup. So typically she blames my love affair with ketchup on her cravings when I was still unborn. She used to eat fried chips with ketchup. You know a crazy pregnancy craving can wake you up at 3 am in the morning and unless you get those fries you will have a sleepless night!!!

Today, for every main meal that I eat, I have to ketchup! However I seem to have different reasons for liking it (not the mum cravings one). I love it because it makes my food tastier and palatable! If I eat rice, and apply ketchup I can finish all my rice as the ketchup will make it happen.

There are some people running behind in their bible reading. As we read the Word of God we need to 'Catchup' with the others. I'm saying NOW is the time to catchup! Purpose in your heart as we approach the weekend to catchup! Or else you won't be able to eat that book! Let the blood be applied. Remember this is not a race or competition. It's a spiritual assignment. So approach it that way. Take your time, be more blessed by your reading by catching up! I don't want you to choke over this spiritual food.

You may also be there running behind in your Christian life! It's time to Catchup. You may be running behind in you marriage relationship. It's time to catchup! You maybe letting down the bars, you may be losing Faith.... I say catchup!
Encourage yourself in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6).

God bless you,

Just an encouragement from brother Branham himself, I am listening to the sermon "A prophet like unto Moses (59-1120)" and this is what he's just said;

"'I wish for you tonight that has your Bibles to turn with me to the Gospel of Saint Mark the 6th chapter for just a portion of the reading of the Word. Trusting that even the reading of the Word will be a great blessing to each one of you. And follow with me as we read.
I think one of the great things among Christians today; they don't read the Word enough. I think every home should have the Bible read in it two or three times a day.
I remember recently in Italy, even at the table when the sainted old father had his Bible laying on the table, before they would even eat they'd stand with one hand on the table, their left hand, the right hand ready to raise up to God. And the sainted old father would read a portion of Scripture, and they'd bow their heads and pray, raise up their hands and praise God for the bread that was on the table. Oh, the Holy Spirit feasts on the Word. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth from the mouth of God." And this is God's Word. Learn to bring your Bibles now and read with us."'

My own mother used to sing for us the song "Read your Bible pray everyday, pray everyday, pray everyday, read your Bible, pray everyday if you want to grow...."

"Good timber doesn't grow with ease, the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees."
