Do you realise we are one quarter done reading the Bible. We have read 11 Books of the bible so far. If we keep pressing on we will be halfway in the next 3 weeks! Isn't this amazing. Keep reading prayerfully!
 
My text is from 1 Kings 11 which starts with a BUT. 'But' is a conjunction of contrast. BUT is a reservation, its an objection. Here the Bible is contrasting the good things about King Solomon and the bad. He was great in wisdom, wealth, and power BUT, he loved many strange women.
 
Verse 9 say God was angry with Solomon.
 
You may be good, wise, blessed, annointed, gifted and lovely however let there be no BUT's in your life. There musn't be any chapter of your life that starts with a BUT! There must not be any reservations or contradictions. God will be angry with you. Let our lives be a continual living testimony of Him.
 
Maybe you may have fallen in Love with some strange things that are not pleasing to God. Take the BUT out! Let there be no BUT's. Only goat's BUTT...Halelujah.. you are not a goat! You're a sheep so no BUTTING.
