Just a reminder that we will be meeting Wednesday night at 6:45 pm (same place – Inquirer’s Room next to the library).

For Wednesday (2/15) we plan to discuss Genesis Chapters 29 – 36 and look at Character Studies to better understand how we can relate to this message.

Last week Jerry Murray left us with some powerful thoughts (I cannot recall precisely the 3 point) - God is present/ with us; He is purposely/intentionally working for good; and His works will ultimately succeed.  Also, why does God have Isaac and Jacob find their wives from such a dysfunctional family?

See the link below for informative Character Studies or search for other perspectives!

Genesis has four (4) sections/ movements:

Primordial History – Chap 1-11:  Creation all the way through Noah

Abraham Cycle – 12.1-25.18

Jacob Cycle – 25.19 – 36.43

Joseph and his brothers – 37.1 - 50

Attached is a link to a Genesis Character Study from Centervilleroad.com by Gene Taylor that looks at 13 major figures.

FYI -

1)    John, Peter, Bob, George, Rod, Jerry and I had a lot of fun discussing linkages to the rest of the Bible – hope you can join us next Wed!

Thanks for all you do!
