There are some interesting words in this verse I thought I would share.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Decked (G5558) means to gild (to overlay with a thin covering of gold meaning not solid but cheap).
Gold (G5553) used here means gold plating.
Precious (G5093) from the prime (5099) to pay a price, i.e. as a penalty: be punished with.
Stones (G3037) a stone: mill-, stumbling-) stone.
Cup (G4221) drinking-vessel; by extension, the contents thereof, i.e. a cupful (draught); figuratively, lot or fate: cup.
Abominations (G946) a detestation, i.e. (specially) idolatry, from (G948) (to stink); to be disgusted, i.e. (by implication) detest.
Filthiness (G169) impure (ceremonially, morally [lewd] or specially, [demonic]): foul, unclean.
Fornication (G4202) idolatry.
She is suppose to be a virgin bride but because of traditions of men they will wed out of season to Antichrist being the first one taken instead of waiting for the True Christ.
