Hello, I see that you guys study with The King James Bible with
Strong's Dictionary and Hebrew and Greek Concordance, The Companion
Bible and Documentaries done by Pastor Arnold Murray. Arnold Murray is
my favorite Pastor, and I've been trying to find out if he ever made a
companion Bible. Your site says that you use one...could you please
direct me to a site that sells them? Pastor Murray is the one that I
trust the most when it comes to conveying God's word. Thank you for
reading this.

God Bless.

You mean the Shepher'd Chapel website? I went there and didn't see
anything about ordering products. I don't have the means to travel to
Arkansas.

Hi Guy, When you watch the Shepherds Chapel, between the teaching and the questions they give out a phone number. Also if you haven't sent for"The Mark of the bBeast" I think the name of the free tape they send, all the info you need to get the Companion Bible and tapes, videos(too expensive), or cd's of complete, partial book studies, single tapes, etc. Or write to The Shepherds Chapel, P.O.B. 416 Gravette, AR 72736-0416. Send in a donation of even $1 and you get on the mailing list for a monthly bible study and order form and list of available tapes. Hope this helps. Praise  God  for making this teaching available. I have about 30 feet of extension audio cord and headphones so I can listen in bed in the morning and at night and even doing the dishes. I love Listening to the Murrays dispense  the clear truth and understanding of THE WORD. It makes so much more sense now,. I also like the Amplified Bible, as it uses as many words as necessary to give a very close (to me)rendering of the Joy and Emotion of The Lord, and I haven't found and discrepancies yet between the two, except it tkes a long time to read the side bar of the Companion, and I get lost sometime. But together, the WORD sings. I can't afford to go to Gravette, either, but Lord willing , I'm moving to AR or MO so I can go to the Sunday meetings, that are every other week, and will be closer to Branson for PO.  God Bless You for seeking Him  Mary

There is an added bonus if you buy from the Shepherd's Chapel. It is
Tax Deductible. Not only that, you are helping the Chapel spread
God's word and also keeping the Companion Bible in print. The
Shepherd's Chapel single handedly kept the Companion Bible in print by
ordering so many of them.

It is not tax deductible if you get it elsewhere.

Thanks guys! When I order from the Chapel, if I order the companion
Bible...is that Bible done by Pastor Murray? I ask because there are
so many companion Bibles that differ from what Pastor Murray
teaches...and at the end of the day...he's who I trust to tell God's
word like it is.

Hi Pacman-I think you're confusing concordances, or  lots of people have written what amounts to opinions about the Bible called a commentary. I've dumped mine, but there are LOTS. The Companion Bible sold by The Shepherds Chapel was originally published in 1922-notes and appendices by E.W.Bollinger. And, as Pastors Murray sometimes say, scrolls and books found after his studies were completed are not included. But as it says in the preface "It is not a new translation, it is not an amended translation, it is not a commentary." "The human element is excluded, as far as possible, so that the reader may realize that the pervading object of the book is not merely to enable him to interpret the Bible, but to make the Bible the interpretor of God's Word. and Will, to him."
" To the same end this Edition is not associated with the name of any man;so that its usefullness may neither be influenced nor limited by any such consideration;but that it may commend itself, on its own merits, to the whole English -speaking race."
"The Text is that of the Authorized Version of 1611 as published by the Revisers in their "Parallel Bible" in 1886."
This is all as carefully as i can type exact quotatations from the preface of my Companion Bible. To me, it means that Bollinger did his best to keep man, the creature's, opinions out, leaving only The Creators Word. But since the way we speak, have changed  through language and millinea, the original meanings are explained from the original languages from which the Bible was written, in the side bar. It is not a quick, easy read, as many revised modern versions are. But I don't want easy, I want true, and Pastor Murray has been studying and teaching longer than I've lived and I'm 60. So many questions I had have been answered by his teaching, I've tossed lots of books "about" Gods Word. Get The Companion Bible from the chapel. If you're sincere, the cost of the leather is worth it. You'll only need one. But get the Strong's Concordance from the Chapel also. I personally think the kenites are still scribing away to confuse us.  Pastor teaches the Priesthood got lazy hundreds of years before Christ was born, and  hired kenite scribes. Both the Old and New Testament equire full atention. And Paul could write some  long sentences, I've had to start again to reattach the object. Pastor Murray had to have this Bible reprinted, so that it wouldn't be lost, and Is keeping his eye open for changes in subsequent printings of  the  Strongs.. I really hope Our Lord comes while we still have the guidance of the chapel. I am disabled, make horrible decisions, and am a total wuss. I need the tough old marine to use his size 12's on me. Not being able to sleep brought me to the chapel. , But TV-well i just wish the Shepherds Chapel was on 7 days a week. Satan used the weekends to wrap me in usury. But now I can listen all the time on the net, and use my concordance more. As Pastor says don't trust ANY man-study for yourself. Mary   (please forgive mistypings-I tried to clean my keyboard-Get the Companion Bible and read for yourself)

Thanks Mary Best! I think I'm gonna get those......I was led to watch
the Chapel for a reason...so I think it's best that I follow up on it
while I can.
Just so I know....when I send in my donation to the Chapel...do I have
to specifically ask for the newsletter and order form? Or do they just
send them automatically?....Haha....I don't want to sound like an
idiot to them. :P

Also, I'm sorry to hear about your physical trials....my mother is on
the verge of being disabled...she's slowly dying and it kills me to
see it. I know the Lord will bless you for seeking and praising him
Mary....it's sad that there are a lot of people who hate and blame God
when they become disabled.....it's wonderful to see someone in the
same situation who loves God completely. :):):) Hang in there Mary,
God's watching over you, He loves you, and that's the best thing going
for you.

Hi, please don't worry about what they might think of you. There are lots of low income people who send teeny "love gifts", because they can't afford to tithe. Like me. I'm glad you wrote, you seemed somewhat tentative. Just write what you just wrote me, that Father led you there to study with The Shepherds Chapel , and you want to send a love gift. Or whatever is on your heart, or if you study tv or internet-they're just people, but any info like that helps them know how to reach the most people. I need to learn how to copy bible studies off the net, but I'm slow and trying to get my house ready to sell, like anyone would want it. Kinda hoping the Prophesies will be fulfilled soon, but the signs seem to be there. I've made so many mistakes! I was listening to a study this am and was a Haight st. dope fiend in the late '60's and all I can say is I repent and I believe. Pastor says I'll have to confront all the people I've killed, harmed-I don't remember going out looking for people, they were looking for me, but I love Papa so much. no other family. I so hope I get to be with the Lord's family for eternity. If not, being wiped out even the memory of me will be so the kinder . I hope all the Big Pharma millionaires who hide studies that show they are making money harming people-no, Our Lord is the heart knower. I trust Him. He is So much Holier than we can even imagine. I have a hard time leaving the house-a head thing, as well as the physical. I'll pray for you , please pray for me. I want to be useful. I used to be. I I I Me-a bit self centered, No? Anyway, if you just let them know you study with them, as long as they hear from you every 6 mo.or so, you'll get the bible study and list of tapes/cd's. You can ask for a full listing, things get lost there sometimes, cause I asked for one and sent a self add. stamped env. for a full library list, but asked for Fall Fellowship info same time. keep it simple. I was led to the chapel too. God Bless you, and I hope we can be friends even after what I told you about my past. what part of the country are you from. you don't have to be too specefic, I'td be nice to have someone in California to share with. You might enclose a stamp with  your letter. They used the postage meter, but it might be used there somehow.
Bless you, again, May He meet all your needs and fill you with Wisdom. Mary

Hey Mary, of course we'll still be friends! I know lots of people
who've done lots of bad things in their lifetime. One of my personal
friends was on drugs at age 15....now he's a religious family man with
a wife and 3 kids! I'm not sure what you mean by "People you've
killed", but you said they were looking for you....and self defense
isn't a sin. And as Pastor murray points out...the only unforgivable
sin is for the elect to not let The Holy Spirit speak through them
when they're presented to the anti-Christ. If you've repented and are
truly living in God's word than Jesus has forgiven you. By Jesus' own
standards I'm a mass murderer....I used to fantasize about killing
people who went against God's word....but the fact that I enjoyed the
thought of killing them is the same as actually doing it......so I'm a
murderer....err...former murderer, since I've since repented and
changed my ways. Everyone makes stupid mistakes and bad
decisions....it's part of being a flawed human....the difference
between burning for those mistakes and achieving paradise is whether
you admit your wrongs, repent and do what you can to resist sin. I
have a friend who once told me

"God's knows that we sin...he know's we'll mess up and ask for his
forgiveness.....he's not gonna leave us just because we occasionally
mess up. The only way God will take his blessings away from us is when
it gets to the point where we don't even TRY to resist the urge to sin
anymore."

I might also point out that the thief who died with Jesus was taken to
heaven, despite the fact that he lived a life full of sin....because
he believed and devoted himself to Jesus before he died. Once you
repent and ask for Father's forgiveness......those sins are gone and
you're clean. I've been having fears lately as well...I don't want to
find out what would happen if the end of days came before I finished
learning God's word....so I'm kinda in a hurry haha.

Don't feel self centered either...everyone likes to feel useful to
the Lord....even me. The fact that you feel the need to feel useful
and help others is a great sign, and I think God is looking down at
you, smiling for it, because you're doing as much good as you can with
what you have.....which is exactly what God wants.

As for where I live...sorry, I'd like to say that I live in
Cali.....but I live way up north in the mitten......LOL...AKA
Michigan. My name's Colin by the way, and I'm 24 years old. All my
family members are mormon (ugh) and most of my friends are athiest. :(
Thank you so much for your prayers! I'll deffinitely pray for you
too...hopefully God will bring someone who would enjoy your house
along to buy it from you. Why do you want to move? Are you moving out
of state? If you'd rather not say that's alright...I have no intention
of prying into your personal business.
Thanks for the info about the Chapel. I've been tempted to order the
Mark of the Beast for quite some time now. I think I'll order it so I
can be prepared...Satan's good at decieving...I'll give him that much.

Can I ask one more question? When I send in a donation or love
gift....should it be in cash, a money order, or a check? And if it's a
moner order or check...whom do I make it out to? Do I make it out to
Shepherd's Chapel church? To Arnold Murray?.........LOLOL...........To
God?

The Companion Bible is not a commentary Bible, as many have well said.
It is actually a study guide Bible written by a great scholar, E.J.
Bullinger. It can also be found online at a really good website
(http://www.companionbiblecondensed.com/). As far as it being "tax
deductible" if bought from SC, I wouldn't know. What I do know is that
the "Federal Income Tax" is a total fraud perpetrated against the
American people since 1916. There is actually no law which requires
American citizens to pay a percentage of their wages earned to the
government. I haven't filed a tax return in over 10 years and I do not
allow my employer to withhold 1 cent to give to the government. I
strongly urge all SC students as well as all Christians to watch the
video "America: Freedom to Fascism" on Google videos, or go to the
website www.freedomtofascism.com. It will also show you that the
government is preparing the "mark of the beast" for us all right now.
Please don't miss this opportunity to open your eyes like never
before! Tell all now!
