Hello again friends. This is Bobby. Hope everyone is doing well. It
is raining with some off and on thunder here. I have some questions.
1. When our physical bodies die do we instantly go to be with Father?
I know there are some schools of thought which teach soul sleep while
others say "present from the body present with the Lord" see 2
Corinthians 5 verse 8.
2. How can I know if I am one of God's elect? I sure want to be one.
3. What will we do while we wait for the millennium if we go to
paradise before the five month period where Satan rules the world?
Thank you to the person who said something that I might be able
to help other people study our Father's Word. I would love to help
others study His Word. I suppose I should take a little nap. I'll
turn on the internet stream of the Shepherd's Chapel. Thanks be to
Father for the stream. I just wish the sound quality was a little
better. God bless you.

Hi again Bobby, as far as our physical and spiritual bodies go, Ecclesiastes 12:6~7 tell us that our flesh body goes back to dirt and our soul and spirit goes back to GOD, I can only assume that if we leave this earth before CHRIST return , we will wait as all the others are doing now , until CHRIST comes again

1 John 2:18
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Paul in 1Thessalonians 1:13-18 subject is where are the dead (they arose just as Christ did).
He wrote the second letter 2Thessalonians 2:00.
What is the subject? our returning to the Father.
I believe that he wrote this second letter because the first one confused them about our gathering back to the Father.
This is where many get the Rapture Theory from.
The end shall not come except there come that falling away (the apostasy) and that man of sin (Satan as Anti-Christ) be revealed and will deceive most of the world at that time.
As long as your in the flesh and a supernatural entity claiming to be Jesus and the whole world will follow him then you know thats the fake because when the true Christ returns we are all changed instantly into our spiritual bodies.
You might order the Pastors work on this subject which goes into much more depth.

Thanks Penny.
I live in northern California.

Regarding Robert's question on God's Elect.
God's Elect are those that know Satan comes first as Jesus (the Anti-christ) before the true Christ returns and the Rapture is leading those to him (the first one taken).
Satan is a beautiful angel (Ezekiel 28:00) not some ugly creature and will have supernatural abilities to deceive most people on earth at that time.
The Elect will be delivered up to him and not to premeditate what we will speak but the Holy Spirit will speak though us at that time.
Robert I have done some research on software for the blind that can convert computer display to audio.
The Shepherd's Chapel 800 number they might be able to direct you to their tech support.

Oh, I understand more clearly now.  The Elect are elected to stand before satan that time. Pastor Murray keeps emphasizing this I know.  Thank you

Ok, I will study Ephs 6.
I want to do some memorizing.
I now have some time on my hands so that I can do more studying. My husband passed away last Jan. And I'm struggling through that but I'm doing ok. Have a wonderful daughter for support.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
I too have suffered lost my brother and mom and my mother-in-law, but I know that they are with the Father.
In God's word you will find that comfort knowing He will never leave me nor forsake me.
Ezekiel 44:00
we will recognize our love ones there in the Milllennium.
1Co. 10.13
He will never place more on me that I can handle and will always have a way out.
Isa. 43.26
His promises and His Word is Eternal which means that you never waste time in it. Christ is that word.
Rom 15:4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Heb 13:5-6
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Rom 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I hope that the scriptures might help you through as The Word has helped me throughout my life.

Bobby - May God bless you with the knowledge to be one of his Elect.

I hope I can help with some of the answers you've posted... Not sure how much detail to go into...

1. When our physical bodies die do we instantly go to be with Father?
Answer: Yes, as Tray also quotes - Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 states 6-Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7-Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Also - Christ is the LORD of the living, not the dead. And as you stated 2Cor 5:8 - We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2. If you understand God's purpose for his children, understanding that Satan himself came down bodily and impregnated Eve begetting Cain, If you know that Satan will come disguised as Christ to deceive the whole world into believing he is Christ, and that you understand most importantly that you must not deny the Holy Spirit to speak through you when you stand before Satan. If you understand all these things the Yes you are one of God's Elect. I cannot stress enough the importance of my last point - make sure whatever you do, do not prevent the Holy Spirit to speak through you - doing so will make you subject to the second death - the death of the flesh everyone goes through - for those that deny Christ / Holy Spirit will not be written in the Book of Life.

3. That's the Rapture Theory - God's Elect will be here "Working for God" ready to stand before Satan to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you. The Rapture is just a ploy that Satan created to get people to not study the Bible. Anyone that is fooled into believing the Rapture Theory WILL be deceived by Satan thinking he will Rapture them away.

You need to pray to our Father in heaven for the latter rain to fall on your mind to help you grow in His Holy Word.

Take care and may God Bless you...

Dana, Thank you for all those good notes.  They are comforting indeed.
I've been faithfully watching Pastor Arnold each day.  I have a hunger for the Word too.
It must be beautiful on the west coast.  If you happen to run across any Canadians that are from around here (Ontario), let me know.
Do you go to the Passover or the Fall Fellowship.  I watch those programs on the internet and have seen some Canadians down there at that time.  I know they are out there, Praise the Lord.  Penny

Penny,
I don't know anyone from Canada, unfortunately.
Never been to the Passover meetings and been studying with Shepherd's Chapel for many years.
I keep hoping more students will use this forum to share what we learn and grow together.
Lifting one another up in His Word The Comforter that warms and protects us during these trying times.
