Australia: Raging Wildfire threatens homes near Gladstone in Queensland

RESIDENTS have been advised to leave their homes as a large bushfire continues to burn south of Gladstone.
The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service has advised residents to enact their bushfire plans.
The QFRS located the fire about 9.53am (AEST) at Kirkwood Rd, O'Connell , and it is travelling in a south-easterly direction. It is expected to affect residents in the next two hours.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Community Safety said three crews were at the site.
"We're still trying to clarify details, at this stage it's pretty uncontrollable ... (details) are changing minute to minute."
Residents are advised to call Triple Zero (000) if their property comes under threat.
