India: 5.3 magnitude earthquake hits Gujarat
A 5.3 magnitude earthquake has hit Gujarat and adjoining areas.
The quake that hit around 11 pm was epicenter in Junagarh district of the state.
There are no immediate reports of injuries or damage
Gujarat is a state in western India. It has an area of 75,686 sq mi (196,030 km2) with a coastline of 1,600 km, most of which lies on the Kathiawar peninsula, and a population in excess of 60 million.
