A MAGNITUDE-4.5 earthquake in Baja California shook buildings in the US border city of Calexico but no damage or injuries have been reported.
The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 8:22am PDT (1.22am AEST) and was centred 25km south of Calexico in Mexico.
Calexico police dispatcher Veronica Valenzuela said the quake was felt but there were no reported injuries or damage.
