Suspected new cases of foot and mouth has been discovered 30 miles from
the recent outbreak in Surrey.
A three-mile exclusion zone has been set up around the affected area
near Egham in Surrey.
Debbie Reynolds, the Government's chief vet, is expected to attend an
emergency Cobra meeting this afternoon, the BBC reported.
Last week two separate investigations found that leaks at a research
facility in Pirbright were the most likely cause of the outbreak at two
Surrey farms.
