US customers were forced to flee a Maryland restaurant today after
the business was set alight by a lightning strike.
Howard County fire officials said the massive fire broke out at
the Wild Buffalo Grill Restaurant in North Laurel - midway between
Washington, DC and Baltimore - about 2pm local time, The Baltimore
Sun said.
The two-alarm fire spread to the second floor and attic of the
business, taking about an hour to extinguish. The restaurant was
open at the time, forcing customers to flee, but no one was
injured.
