I uploaded,

mgp_wp_fb.bibjson

to the groups files section, http://groups.google.com/group/bibjson/files

It is a bibjson file for Math Genealogy people who have a wikipedia and freebase id.

Hi Jack!

Looks good to me!

So, fbid, wpid, namespace and value are new properties you created for
this specific dataset, right?

Otherwise, to be "valid" BibJSON it needs to have a "id" attribute. You
can re-use one already exsting, or create a new one for the specific
purpose of this dataset.

Maybe I would also suggest adding one or multiple types. Maybe something
that could come from FB?

Take care,

Fred

Yes I created properties specifically for this dataset. I don't have a sense that bibjson has a standard yet for specific properties. I realize I didn't include the linkage or schema section. It was a quick and dirty dump. I suspect people will dump stuff like this though. We'll need to figure out how we want to process these kinds of sets to produce a report. I imagine there would be a tool that reports missing features like linkage, schema sections, and unrecognized properties. It isn't worth it for me to enhance this dataset. I expect to have a full set sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Right. As we dicussed on a call (not sure if you were there), the
BibJSON validator is on-hold for now (only the parser got updated). So,
something such is planned, and should happen sometimes in the future (as
needed by BKN according to the priorities at that time).

Thanks!

Take care,

Fred
