It currently runs on ree (Ruby enterprise edition) 1.8.7.
Currently it's not a good idea to upgrade past that.
I have a local branch that I believe will run on 1.9.3, but I've been
delaying pushing it until I can also get Rails up to the current 3.2.x
branch. At this point I would probably tag a new major release since it
would require a different ruby.
I've not even thought about making a ruby 2.0 version yet.
Note that there are in fact differences in the ruby 1.8 and ruby 1.9
languages that mean that it just won't run on 1.9 as is.
There seems to have been increased interest in this lately, so I may see
if I can clear some time soon to get this done.
