DSpace Sword Deposit from Bibapp

Is there any thing I need to do to make sword deposit into a dspace version 5 repository? I have edited my sword.yml and configured my dspace but I keep getting an error each time I try to archive an item

I can't say for sure, but I think that Bibapp was only ever able to
do SWORD v1, and I think now DSpace is on SWORD v2, which I believe
is incompatible.
If this is the case I don't know how complicated a fix would be. In the code I actually abused the SWORD v2 ruby gem to get it to work with SWORD v1 (which was our use case at the time). I don't think I ever looked at SWORD v2 because we were on an old DSpace for so long and now aren't really doing anything with Bibapp.
