Hi,

I spent a little bit of time poking around the German version after I
imported Claudia's translations. This led to extracting a few strings
that I missed before and fixing a few other problems that were made
apparent when using a different locale.

I also fixed the views that were using the DataTables javascript
widget. These should be properly translated now and the basic
machinery is in place to do that if they are used elsewhere in the
future or if other translations are added.

I haven't worked on a locale picker yet.

Claudia, please continue to let me know of any more problems that you
find as you look at this. There are doubtless more things that I
missed or didn't anticipate would need to be done. All in all I think
it looks pretty good though.

Do you think the locale picker would be prominent enough if it were
placed in the footer? There's a lot of space there.

no I think it wouldn't be prominent enough there.
Maybe lower the search box a bit and then put it in the top right corner?

Hello,

the de translations for config/locales/de.yml have been updated and the
templates in app/views/user_mailer/ filled with contents.

So far the basic stuff (Adding People, Works, Groups ...) looks fine,
but I'll do some more testing with imports, workflows etc.

Two small issues in
/works?view=all

a) Format Facet
The types (Book whole etc.) are not translated

b) Find it | Save link
Is fixed to "Saved" instead of Save and Saved depending on the status.

All right. I didn't think so either, but it was worth checking. As
mentioned elsewhere I've put it by the tagline but on the right, so
between the search box and the nav links below it for the FAQ etc.
