I just noticed today that some updates I applied back in May have had a deletorious effect on our Google Analytics stats since then.

I've gone ahead and migrated my site to the new GA Asynchronous version:
https://github.com/jstirnaman/BibApp/commit/35cd2bbb62ff14d919591a948caba1a7c812080d
I'm still waiting to see what difference it makes and if the original problem is fixed.

I'm still not sure exactly what caused the original problem but it does look like there's a missing semicolon at
https://github.com/BibApp/BibApp/blob/master/public/javascripts/specific/shared/google_analytics.js#L4
However, even after fixing that, the pageTracker variable wasn't getting set.

Okay. I'm not completely familiar with how this piece works, but I'll
look into it.

The changes I made seem to have fixed the problem. Our visitor stats are climbing back up to expected levels. I think the page was never completely loading, or was probably calling ga.js before it had fully loaded.
