Before the inception of the Passport Photo Plugin for Adobe Photoshop (CS6, CC 2015 - 2024) and Adobe Lightroom Classic (v3-v6 or CC 2015 - 2024), most photographers had to rely on crude and cumbersome methods to come up with passport-sized photos when using Photoshop. One of these outdated 'methods' involved manually cropping up and re-copying an image as many times as the number of professional passport photos one needed. However, not only was this method inefficient but it was also time-consuming and tedious especially for highly-sought photographers who typically handle multiple client requests at a go.

Unlike the old and conventional methods of slicing up photo IDs with Photoshop, using this plugin to do the same exact is quite straightforward. First, you need to download and install the latest Passport Photo Plugin. After this, a new menu item will appear in the Adobe Photoshop "Filter" menu and Adobe Lightroom Classic "Edit In" menu.Using these menu items, this new add-on can transform any image into a professional-looking biometric ID that can pass any level of security/identity scrutiny. The image can also be saved or printed further using Adobe Lightroom Classic or Adobe Photoshop.

I take my own ID photo's of myself with my own camera and right specific criteria for whatever cause the photo is to be used for. What I liked about Passport Photo is it's choice of regional size specifications (US photo size, UK, candian and more) and the way it can render print ready passport size photo's. The latest version of this application supports transparent text overlays, although I have not used this myself..

Of course we can already do all the resize and stuffs in paint.net since beginning but I am suggesting a user friendly dialog method with preset sizes to each region AND with a selection tool for headshots

AiDon, This was requested way back in June 2016 and now more than two years later we are still waiting even after the answer to the original post was " You may want to add this to the Features Request section. " Affinity also teamed up with X-Rite some time ago to offer the Affinity Photo free with an X-Rite Colorchecker but still we wait and wait and wait. Same thing on the Plug-in side of things, that page has been the same for must be well over a year if not more -support/win/

Would this actually produce the same results though as using something like Dattacolor SpyderCHECKER? If so could you not just use affinity photo to create a LUT somehow? I am just trying to think of how that would work. I am thinking you would need to have a digital color reference file to match the photo of the color card you use matching them up using a curve adjustment in Affinity then export it as a LUT. Does that make sense? I don't even know that you get a digital reference file with the color cards though.
