If not is Nepali, then in English but written for South Asians. We could do the translation & make them available to others.
Thanks.

I don't know of any info myself, but you could call the Language Bank in
Concord NH. They have many Nepali interpreters, some of whom may know of
materials they or others have written for this purpose.
More info here:

Also, I hope you are aware of Aksharica, the Nepali language newsletter
published twice a month by Nepali volunteers in Manchester NH for the
benefit of the Bhutanese all around the US. They have included short
articles about many health issues in the 19 issues they have produced so
far. All those newsletters are online. They are professional produced
and beautifully formatted. I am currently trying to find money to
compile many of their practical "this is what you need to know" articles
into a book to be a companion volume to the dictionary.

Thanks,

I have a Nepali and English translation of a health questionnaire designed for the emergency room. (I did the translation myself, along with lots of Nepali help.)
Will this help?

This may be useful to some but I was asked for information on these 4 diseases by a Bhutanese refugee who now has a job as a community health outreach worker with the Dept of Public Health. The information would be prevention/education oriented & handed out at health fairs, health centers frequented by the refugee population and community centers they’d go to for English classes & other services. It would also be used as handouts for people diagnosed with or at risk for these diseases while seeing a practitioner.
I think what you’ve done would be useful to ER & the community health center staff & would be happy to pass it along to see if they can use it. So please send it along & I will share it.
Thanks.

I was speaking to the Public Health Officer here at Newark Airport. He
indicates that there had been a slowing of refugees due to security
issues especially with refugees from Iraq. That has apparently been
cleared - at least for the refugees from Bhutan -and we can expect to
see an increase in arrivals over the Summer.

Roswell is 15 miles north of Atlanta. They are living in a not so great
apartment complex that is 90% Hispanic. One family has been robbed
already. Roswell is essentially a high income well regarded suburb with
great schools and programs except in the "Little Mexico" area where they
live.
The state is mandating a more geographic spread of refugees beyond
Clarkston-Decatur.
I have plenty of dictionaries. I reprint each time the supply gets low.
Right now I have about 1,000 in stock. The books can be ordered at
