the New Americans Celebration 2013!
We expect a large crowd of champions from our community, and we look forward  to a productive and meaningful day for participants and legislators. Before everyone comes together Thursday morning, we wanted to share logistical and other details.

Schedule
Attendees are expected to be available for the duration of the event, starting at
8:00 a.m. and going through the morning. If your schedule has changed and you cannot join us for the entire event, please contact us at 404-844-5234 or mge...@refugeefamilyservices.org.
 
8 AM / Registration, Networking, Refreshments 

8:15 AM / Welcome and Training for Participants          

Central Presbyterian Church, Tull Hall

Getting Around at the Capitol 

Anyone (age 18 or older) entering Coverdell Legislative Office Building or the Capitol must show photo identification and pass through a metal detector. Be sure to
bring photo ID with you to the event, or you may not be able to participate in all activities.

Parking is available in downtown parking lots. We encourage participants to carpool or use MARTA. For more information about parking and getting to the event, click here.
