Dear BHTOM colleagues,

My name is Jakub Kolář, currently a postdoc at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. Last year, I received my PhD at Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia. My field of interests are stellar eclipsing systems, especially the doubly eclipsing quadruples. During my PhD studies, I founded and currently lead the observing group called Squadra, specialising in the quadruple stars. We are conducting large citizen observational campaigns and also coordinating the student projects. Thus, our papers include a wide range of researchers and observers. We have published two MNRAS papers, Period ratios and observation of noticeable resonance at 3:2 for 2+2 quadruple systems; Study of doubly eclipsing quadruples – I. Methodology and results for 10 Northern sky systems. The third manuscript is now in preparation and contains the research of two master theses.

You can find both papers here:
https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/538/2/1160/8069005
https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/547/4/stag417/8504091

Within the next research, we would like to aim on new candidates in collaboration with Pawel Zielinski from Toruń and confirm their multiplicity using photometry and eclipse time variations. We have five new candidates for the follow-up observations listed below. If you are willing to help us with this project, I can provide more info about the light curves. Also, the observers will be co-authors in the planned publication (preliminary in MNRAS).

Because of the long names of the objects, we use our working names stated in brackets. You can use them or the original ones, it is up to you. The observational strategy could be in principle in two ways.

Monitoring the entire light curve (for instance, by taking several data points throughout the night).
Focusing primarily on the eclipses, supplemented by a few data points during out-of-eclipse phases.

If you are interested, I can provide the light curve plots from TESS and also the light curve and minima predictions.

With the best regards,

Jakub Kolář
