Requesting photometric measurements of a new SN

Dear BHTOM colleagues, 

My name is Andrea Simongini, currently a PhD student at INAF-Rome. I'm working on multi-wavelength follow-ups of close SNe in the high-energy regime. 

The Universe just gave us a very close new event, visible from the northern hemisphere.  

SN 2026sqf, discovered yesterday in NGC 3310 at 10.66 Mpc, being within the 1% of the closest SNe II discovered since 2016. Moreover (see attached image), it is showing flash ionization features, indicating ongoing circumstellar interaction, mildy reminding me of SN2023ixf. 

I believe it is an interesting target for SNe enjoyers of BHTOM and I highly encourage optical follow-up to monitor the ongoing evolution.
