Dear Parents:
Boxes of Joy Update:
Currently we have collected 167 boxes (63 boxes of food were collected on Friday alone)! Thank you to all of the students, parents and staff who have supported this activity. We also would like to extend a huge thank you to the two Home Depot stores (the Farmington Hills store on Northwestern and the Macomb Township store on M59 and Romeo Plank) who donated 212 boxes for our food drive.
We hope to meet our goal of 200 boxes for families in Pontiac by next Wednesday (12/16).
Winter Break begins next Friday at 3:00 p.m. School will resume on Monday, January 4th at 8:10 a.m.
Congratulations to the three teams from West Hills who competed in the State First Lego League Robotics Tournament last Saturday: Snake Eyes, The Golden Vampires, and The Robotic Rascals. West Hills was the ONLY school in Michigan to send THREE teams to the State Tournament! The Golden Vampires brought home the trophy for Quality Design, while the Robotic Rascals received the Judges' Award. Great job!
