Research Paper due date

Basha Parents,
As your child may have mentioned, I've been sick mostly for two weeks. I should be fine shortly, but I did extend the research paper date to Mon Nov 14th, 2009. (It had been 12/13th).
Many students planned to finish this tomorrow when they were off school, and I really suggest you encourage them to still do that so they're not stressed this weekend.
You and I both care about teaching them hard work, how to manage their time, and how to stay healthy. As I said before, this is the hardest academic year they've ever had.
As my own health failed, I was not there to support them, and it would be unfair to expect them to succeed without me there for them.
I sent the students the email below earlier today and wanted to keep you in the loop, too.
As always, email me if you need me.

PS. They should be reading (I know many finished) their independent reading books. Their first assignment is due Friday before midnight. (They are submitted online).

It is official.
The final research project date has been moved to Monday November 16th.
It would be unfair of me to require such a large and important project to be submitted after you have little to no access to me these last few days.
I want all documents (including things graded & returned) all together with your RUBRIC (you can find it in google docs packet) stapled to the top.
If it is not printed, stapled, and gathered by Monday when class begins, then it is late.
I know many of you are procrastinators and some of you are relieved by this news, BUT I caution you. Finish early. Do not wait until Sunday.
I do plan to be at Basha on Thursday from 6:15am-3:00pm. I will be in my room to help people during all three lunches. (If you cannot find me, check F1).
