Dear Friend,

Greetings from Cinque Education, www.cinque.in. It is some foolhardy friends coming together, and trying to shape the world the way they want. J Seems like wishful thinking, but then wishes only pave the way for future….aha…Gyaaan for today!

The passion to do something for the youth, the passion to surge ahead from  the results of McKinsey Report-2005 (Hardly 20% of Indian youth are employable!), the passion to explore the vast untapped potential, while contributing in our own ways to the society was what brought us all together. Else, how can you expect an Imperial College London graduate, a Banking industry’s high flying executive, an IT wiz kid, an IIT grad and space engineering enthusiast, and an MDI grad and paint seller to come together leaving everything and start on a new journey.

Uncertainty of following our dreams seemed more exciting than the Certainty of MNC jobs, which led one of us to quit his first job in 19 days to move to head a Career Launcher centre, the other one looked forward to interacting with kids at various B-Schools, the third one was the founder of a youth development NGO called VSM, and the other two loved being the Gizmo-freaks and ran away at first opportunity to adventure camps and treks.

Our different passions and strengths finally amalgamated in to Cinque Education, chiseled as per current learning paradigm. And thus a journey of two years- filled with innumerable telephone hours, healthy contributions to Airtel and BSNL broadband coffers, so many YESs-to-NOs and then NOs-to-YESs, Hearty sudden ahaaa..moments  - We  are finally launching our company with following three products-

1.    Enkindle- Professional Development Program for young managers

2.    Embark- Integrated Career Development Training for MBA and Engineering Students through institutional tie-ups.

3.    Elevate- Preparatory Education Solutions

Along with these for-profit activities we are deeply inclined to provide free-of-cost career guidance and employability training to underprivileged youth.

For the first two products, we are ready with the modules and soon a dedicated service- portal would be launched to support the training programs. For the third product, we have partnered with Career Launcher and are opening two centres at Noida Sec 62, and Vaishali-Ghaziabad.

“To err is human, and to help is friendship”  and so all your inputs, suggestions and comments are most welcome.”

So although the primary purpose of this mail is to apprise you about this development, the secondary purpose is very obvious….which says DO send your friends at Gun-points to us!!! And look out for any training opportunity of young managers at your place and recommend us as if we are Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, Michael Porter, Daniel Goleman and Stephen Covey- all fused in one team …

Just to add, a brief snapshot of the team members is as below:

·         Avinashi Sharan-An MBA from Imperial College London, Avinashi has a training experience of over five years on the aspects of communication skills, leadership and innovation. He has trained over 8000 budding professionals including employees of HP, Tata Motors, Dabur, Parle, Minda, Indian Telephone Industries.

He has worked as Process Design Engineer at Praxair, a Fortune 300 company.  Operations is his forte and social marketing is his key area of interest.

·         Pradeep Aswal-Ask him to locate 'Sanjeevani' and chances are that he will find it for you. His resourcefulness and networking skills are legendary. A hard core systems guy with solution oriented approach, he resolves any situation we walk into. His key area of interest is Psychology and IT-based learning models.

·         Apul Jain- A fin wiz to the core, all he understands is numbers. A Post-graduate   from VGSOM, IIT-Kharagpur, he brings with him the rich industrial experience of both the IT/ITES as well as BFI sector.

Warm Regards,

Team Cinque.

Hi Avinashi and Ramanuj,

Great going buddies. All the best in your pursuits of excellence.
We gotta remember Steve Jobs' mantra of success "stay hungry, stay foolish".

We'll ring you guys up one of the weekends.
