Obit: Faith Eury

Classmates,
We lost a sweet, sweet classmate, Faith Eury, on Sunday. She was
diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April of 2009 and lived in

We will DEFINITELY be having the 25th this year! I'm kinda thinking
Fall. The ACC just released the football schedules, so that will
really help us know which weekends will be easier to work with.
Meeting soon, more details later.

BTW, your photos with her are CUTE. I showed some to my daughter and
she said "aww" many times. I hope you'll bring this Os Tyler fella :)

Hello all, I am trying to find everyone who played on the 87 Baseball Team
and need your help. If you played on or keep up with anyone who was on that
team we are being honored at the April 27th home game with a new banner and
then a dinner after. If any of you live close and want a good laugh the
annual alumni game is the next day along with a children's camp that
morning.

I apologize for the mass email that only effects so few but I'm having a
hard time finding people so please just reply to me and not all at

Do you have a roster? I can think of some "baseball guys", but I
can't clearly remember exactly which ones actually made the team.

No I don't. I lost my yearbook to water damage years ago. I can remember
most of the guys our age but I forget some of the younger guys who got moved
up from JV once we made the playoffs. Chris Newton who is the JV coach at
Broughton now is trying to help me and Johnny McConnell has helped find a
few younger guys. I remember guys like Bryant Ballentine, Kevin McNamara,
Harrison Murray etc but they had actually already graduated.

I felt bad using the Faith email but I have been working on the baseball
thing the last couple weeks so have high school on the brain and thought it
could be a good way to find people. Had you kept up with her at all? I was
about to send you an email thinking you could blast it out and you already
had. Very sad. Her funeral is Saturday but I am going to be out of town
actually with Jason Smith who I haven't seen in years.

Awww such sad news. Faith was such a Beautiful person. She will be
missed by all who's lives she touched. My heartfelt sympathies to her
family & friends.
