Just wanted to send a friendly reminder that the Class of '87
Broughton Reunion is just TWO DAYS AWAY! We can't wait and hope that
you and your family can make it.
-------------FRIDAY--------------
Homecoming Tailgate Party - Bring back the old days of Section G in
the York Properties parking lot (between the Cameron Village
Chick-Fil-A and the Broughton baseball field/pit) for our kickoff
party. We'll have a cheesesteak food truck on hand and would love to
see you and your family around 5:45pm. Note: The truck does not serve
alcohol. We don't officially condone alcohol at this function, however
you are absolutely welcome to bring a cooler and drink out of opaque
cups while following the state and local laws!
Homecoming Football Game - The game against Enloe should be a good
one. While the action on the field will be good, apparently some
twerps from Enloe will be holding a "Frat Out" in _our_ stadium to
protest Broughton. More here:

Downtown Meetup (9pm until) - After the game, we'll send the children
home and meet up at the Babylon Restaurant/Bar Patio. It's located
right where Capital Blvd becomes a city street inbound, just south of
the railroad overpass. They have a _fantastic_ patio and a neat dance
area inside.
-------------SATURDAY--------------
The Big Event (8pm until) - The Big Event will take place at the
Southland Ballroom. We'll have the game on the big screen TVs and many
snacks. Try eating in a downtown restaurant beforehand, though, and
you can take the free R-line circulator bus right to the Southland
Ballroom!
Be sure to have your smartphone charged, because we'll be playing
80s/Broughton Bar Trivia at some point for some fun prizes, too!
Admission is $20 in advance (thru Friday). Day-of admission is $25.
ESPN ignored our plea, however, and scheduled the NCSU/FSU game for
Saturday night. Don't despair, though! We would love to have you come
when you are done with the game. Therefore, we are going to charge
only $10 admission from 11pm onward. As stated before, our #1 goal is
to get people together this year, and the party isn't complete without
the State fans!
If you are one of the very few people who cannot make it to this
weekend's events, however, we understand. Our lives are very
complicated these days, and we would be honored if you could consider
a small contribution to aid this get together as well as the next one!
Tickets, contribution pages, maps, times, and other and details are
available at

We can't wait to see you!
