Gerald Lynn Kubsch was born on July 23, 1951 in Kingsville, Texas to Wilburn and Vernell Theiss Kubsch. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. On October 27, 1974, he married Robin Waddell in Newbury Port, Massachusetts. He was a friend to everyone and enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly, especially his grandchildren. He like to be outside working on his ranch or fishing. Gerald and Robin have lived in Katy for the last two and a half months.
Gerald Lynn Kubsch passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Katy, at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Kubsch of Katy; adopted son, Markus Ellenbeck and his wife Janet; sons, Darrell Kubsch and his wife Gloria, and Andrew Kubsch and his wife Rachel; daughter Stacie Eberly and her husband Jason; three grandchildren, Wyatt Eberly, Madilynn Eberly, and EmmaJane Kubsch; stepfather, Virgil Kieschnick; sisters, Barbara Ewing and Brenda Elsik; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, with Linda Kimberly officiating.
