Sue Anne “Boswell” Bleibdrey, cherished wife, sister, mother, and Suki, left us surrounded by love on Friday, September 12th, at the age of 61. Welcomed into the family on December 10, 1963, to Bob and Ruby Boswell, along with her brother Bill, Sue was a gift who brought laughter and love from the very start. She carried her vibrant, outgoing spirit well into her later years, where her lively personality drew people close and developed into many treasured lifelong friendships. Sue was born and raised in Bishop, Texas, where she lived until her passing and attended Bishop High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.

Sue shared a beautiful life with her husband, Rick, a life filled with love, family, and cherished adventures to places like Rockport, South Padre Island, Cozumel, and New Orleans, to name a few. They spent countless days and nights in their backyard, which they transformed into their own private oasis, filled with laughter, music, and endless stories shared. Rick lovingly called her “Kid,” and she will always remain the center of his heart.

She built a remarkable career as a Market Manager in South Texas with Whirlpool Corporation for 25 years. She developed strong, lasting relationships with her accounts and truly loved her work trips to the Valley, especially her Roadshow, which she always made extra special by giving each one a unique theme, a reflection of her love for creativity and fun. Her positive energy and ever-present smile brightened every meeting, many of which she took from her famously camera-ready backyard. Sue’s generous spirit and genuine care for people made a lasting impact on everyone she worked with and will be deeply missed.

Above all of her many accomplishments, Sue’s greatest pride and joy were her daughters, Krista and Kasey. She cherished raising them, celebrating their successes, supporting them, and teaching them to embrace the same laughter, love, and creativity that defined her own spirit. Nothing in life compared to the joy of watching them grow, a joy she carried with her every day. That same love and warmth extended to her grandbabies, Shana and Tytan, who affectionately knew her as “Suki,” a name that reflected the special bond they shared.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Ruby Boswell. Sue leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Richard (Rick) Bleibdrey of Bishop, Tx; daughters Krista Nix of Baton Rouge, La and Kasey Nix of Bishop, Tx; brother, Bill (Lorrie) Boswell of Bishop, Tx; grandchildren Shana and Tytan of Bishop, Tx. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of the many friends who cherished her kindness and infectious joy.

Sue will be remembered for her ability to light up any room, her devotion to her family, and her knack for turning the simplest moments into joyful, lasting memories. Her legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness will be cherished by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, September 17th, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary. Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park, Bishop, Tx.
