Clara's educational journey began in Freer, Texas, where she graduated from high school. She dedicated 33 years of her professional life to serving as a civil service employee at the Naval Air Station in Kingsville, Texas. Her commitment was not only to her job but to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
As a longtime resident of both Bishop and Kingsville, Clara became heavily involved in her local community. She was a vibrant participant in the Woman’s Club of Kingsville, where she once held the esteemed position of secretary, further illustrating her dedication to community engagement. Alongside her beloved husband Marvin, she was a longtime member of Good Sam Sparkling RV Club, Area 5, where cherished friendships blossomed under the expansive Texas skies. Her steadfast faith was nurtured at the First Baptist Church in Kingsville, where she found solace and strength throughout her life.
Clara is survived by her loving son, Larry D. Aduddell and his wife Louise of Refugio, Texas. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Andy R. Aduddell and his wife Rebecca of San Antonio, Texas; Alexandra A. McMyler of Carrollton, Texas; and Christine A. Ochoa and her husband Hector of Houston, Texas. To them, she was not just a grandmother but a source of unwavering love and guidance. Clara was also a proud great-grandmother to Brooks Courtland Aduddell, Ragan Audrey Aduddell, Louisa Magdalene McMyler, Clay Colm McMyler, Emma Sophia Desmarais, Owen Joseph Desmarais, and Hector Mateo Ochoa Jr.
In addition to her immediate family, Clara is survived by her brothers, Robert L. Morris of Houston, Texas, and Joseph E. Morris and his wife Kathy of Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly: Kathy Robert, Diane Simpson, Scott Morris, Robert Morris, Gina Pearson, Angie Fessenden, Becky Vlasek, Amie Holder, Cindy Mullenix, and Jerry Cardwell.
Though Clara Jane Morris Aduddell leaves this earthly realm, she is embraced by the love of her late husband, Marvin Aduddell, with whom she shared seventy-five remarkable years of marriage. She is also reunited with her cherished parents, Earl and Greta Fox Morris, and her brother Jimmy Carroll Morris alongside sisters-in-law Shirley Morris and Mary Morris, all who have gone before her.
A memorial service in Clara's honor will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, located in Kingsville, Texas, on July 2, 2025 starting at 10:00 A.M.
