July 4, 1967 – May 13, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Morgan, affectionately known as “Bat” to his family and close friends, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Danny was a generous soul whose quiet acts of service left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was always ready to lend a hand—whether it was driving his sister to chemotherapy, offering a comforting presence during difficult nights, teaching his nephews how to drive a stick shift or simply giving someone a ride when they needed it. He loved going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, and never hesitated to be there for the people he loved.
Danny had a gruff, sarcastic sense of humor, but those who knew him well understood it came from a place of deep love and loyalty. He had a way of making people laugh even on hard days, and his coworkers often shared how much they enjoyed working with him because of his wit and quick one-liners. Beneath his tough exterior was a big heart—the kind that showed up without being asked and gave without expecting anything in return.
He was fiercely loyal to his family, and anyone who knew Danny knew he would do anything for them. Whether it was a small favor or a big sacrifice, he showed up, stood by their side, and made sure they were never alone.
Throughout his life, Danny worked in roles that allowed him to connect with people and serve his community. His sharp humor and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In his final act of kindness, Danny chose to be an organ donor, and his doctor shared that his selfless gift has helped many people—a powerful reflection of the life he lived.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Theresa Morgan, and his sister Mary Morgan. He is survived by his siblings: Robert Morgan, James Morgan, Terry (Richard) Bradt, Lisa (Danny) Pinson, and John (Ann) Morgan; and by his nieces and nephews: Bryan (Liza) Curry, Kamie (Jon) Spain, Robert (Carolyn) Pinson, Kelsey Curry, Keith Curry, Daniel Pinson, and David Pinson—as well as his great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21st, beginning at 9:00 AM, at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home, 2303 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial at 12:30 PM at Restland Memory Park in Bishop, TX.
We welcome all who knew and loved Danny to join us in honoring his life. Flowers may be sent to Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home.
Danny’s life was one of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep compassion. He made people laugh, and gave of himself in every way he could. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always with love and gratitude.
