Community Pass Setup
Bloomfield Hills Schools
Dear BHS Families,
Bloomfield Hills Schools uses Community Pass for online payments (examples: depositing lunch money, PTO membership and donations, recreation activities, athletic & booster payments, pay to participate, etc.).
Newly enrolled families received a welcome letter generated by Community Pass. The email contains a link, a temporary username, and password. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to change the username and password. You will also complete a one-time set up process.
If anything is incorrect while setting up the account, please proceed as though it is correct. If you notice not all your children are listed or that there are children listed who are not part of your family, simply proceed (do not indicate to Community Pass that there are errors). If you click the button that anything is wrong, it will result in having the temporary username as permanent, and will not allow you to create your own. If there are errors, complete the process with the errors, and then send an email to ALe...@bloomfield.org with any changes, deletions, or additions that need to be made.
It is important to know that Community Pass is a separate database from MISTAR ParentPortal. While the two platforms connect for lunch payments, you still need to create your own username and password for Community Pass.
Please note: There is one login per family/student. If a student lives in two households, there is only one log in for that student. You can create a second account for the student in the other household, however, only the parent/guardian that the student primarily resides with can deposit lunch money online. You can pay or register for anything else, but you will need to send the student to school with lunch money or call 248-433-0885 to deposit the money over the phone.
If you do not receive your welcome letter, send an email to recre...@bloomfield.org with "Need Sign On Information" in the subject line. In the body of the email, type the first & last name of your student(s) and what school they attend. This is not an automated system, it may take up to one business day to create.
